Every individual is both a teacher and a student. We are here to learn from each other and share our resources to further develop self-awareness and a life guided by essential consciousness.
As a comprehensive Wellness Centre, we offer a wealth of information, therapies and classes. It is with compassionate care and understanding that Wellness Within shares these resources and encourages health, vitality and happiness...from within.
Our Goal:
To be the best alternative HEALTH RESOURCE for all individuals in St. Albert and the greater Edmonton area.
How will we achieve:
By continually growing, learning and teaching. By listening to what the people want and need. And by following through on our commitment one day at a time.
history
Our History
It all started with a single massage practitioner, and a dream, to provide the most comprehesive resource for individuals seeking greater health and vitality. It all started as a single massage room office on the second floor of an office tower in West Edmonton and the name From Within Therapy. I can still remember walking door to door to hand out flyers to drum up business. Before long, the single massage practitioner grew to two massage therapists and it was decided that the only logical next step would be to take a monumental leap.
Before a year was even up From Within Therapy had changed to From Within Wellness Centre, and a new 1800 sq.ft alternative health clinic was renovated but still in West Edmonton. Soon an acupuncturist, naturopath and hypnotherapist joined the dream.
As the Centre grew and more practitioners of health joined, a community developed. As the community grew, so did the centre. In 2010, From Within under went a major renovation in our then current location, more than doubling the size (adding two yoga rooms, two more treatment rooms, a College of Massage & Wellness and a health boutique) and changed its name to Wellness Within.
The community and our centre continued to support each other over the next three years and because of this great support, when opportunity knocked, Wellness Within was able to seize the moment and expand, once again, into the beautiful Enjoy Centre. Who could turn down such a gorgeous and tranquil space of 10,000 sq.ft. With this growth we have been able to introduce a full array of spa and esthetic services, bring on a personal trainer and now I finally get an office. I can't thank the community enough for assisting us to become one of the largest (if not the largest) wellness centre in the greater Edmonton region. I would like to think that we are well on our way to providing my dream to assemble the most comprehesive resource for health and vitality and I can't wait to see what the future brings.
