Functional Movement & Anatomy
Prerequisite prior to attending any Mat Pilates Teacher Training
Students who hold prior anatomy or movement-based certifications may request an in-person exemption exam. A passing grade of 80% or higher will exempt the prerequisite requirement.
The Functional Movement & Anatomy Course is a foundational educational experience designed to build a clear, practical understanding of how the body moves. This course bridges anatomy with real-world movement, helping students connect structure to function in a way that is immediately applicable to Pilates, fitness, and mindful movement practices.
Rather than memorizing anatomy in isolation, this course emphasizes feeling, observing, and applying anatomical concepts through movement. Students will gain a functional framework that supports safer exercise, clearer cueing, and deeper confidence as movers and future instructors.
