Clients are recommended to eat prior to their IV appointment and to bring snacks.

* The initial IV appointment only needs to be completed once for any IV therapy and/or injection. Our initial appointment has an additional $40 fee for your first visit that covers the additional 15 minute intake time for your safety and naturopathic medicine extended health coverage. Once we have an initial on file, all future IVs/Injections are follow-ups (duration of 3-years). Naturopathy Initial Appointments count as an IV initial.

Prepare for Your IV Therapy

To help make your IV therapy session as comfortable and effective as possible, we recommend a few simple steps to prepare. Proper preparation can support easier vein access, improve your overall experience, and help your body respond better to the infusion.

  • Drinking plenty of water before your session makes it easier for our team to access your veins and improves your body’s ability to tolerate the infusion. Aim to drink water regularly throughout the day prior to your appointment.

  • We recommend eating a light meal or snack before your IV appointment. Having food in your system helps stabilize your blood sugar, giving you more energy during the session and reducing the chances of feeling light-headed or nauseous.

  • Wear clothing with easy access to your inner arm (short or loose sleeves work best). Dressing in comfortable layers helps you stay cozy in a range of treatment room temperatures.

  • Plan ahead by keeping your schedule clear on the day of your appointment. IV treatments can vary in duration depending on your customized protocol, and allowing uninterrupted time helps you relax and enjoy the process.

  • Have a list of any medications or supplements you currently take, and be ready to share it with our team. Knowing your full health picture helps us personalize your treatment safely.

  • If you have allergies, previous experiences with IVs, or questions about your treatment, don’t hesitate to let our naturopathic team know — especially before booking.
